The Moviefile - Twilight: We Re-Cast the Whole Darn Thing for Eclipse
They recently announced that they were replacing relative unknown Rachelle Lefevre with Bryce Dallas Howard for the third Twilight movie (the second is due out in the fall) due to a "scheduling conflict." What possible "conflict" could a young actor have that they couldn't be in this megahit series? Sounds like Lefevre got shown the door because her villainess Victoria wasn't evil enough. But we'd love it if more of these people suddenly had conflicts, and they suddenly had to recast most of the roles in the film with some big-name actors. It might make us a whole lot more excited for the Eclipse.

Umm, replacing the cast with big name actors? No, that wouldn't make me more excited for eclipse. I think the cast is perfect and am already psyched for it..
I agree with Aly i cant wait to see the other movies. And replacing the characters with big name actors would throw the whole thing off.

I agree with Aly. Or at least, I really thought Rachelle did a great job and I am sorry to see her go. I am so psyched to watch all of the movies... I can't wait!

Except i think they have done the right thing by re-casting victoria. I thought rachelle was good but she had talking parts in twilight which she shouldnt have because the nly book she actually talks in is eclipse.
