I truly feel that everything Tom Hanks touches turns to gold. From John Adams to Charlie Wilson's War to Band of Brothers, they're all successful.

So, when I heard that Tom was starring in and producing the new film, The Great Buck Howard, I got so excited.

The movie stars John Malkovich as Buck Howard, a mentalist/hypnotist that was hugely popular during the days of Johnny Carson. Now that his fame has run out, Buck entertains at half-filled theaters in community centers.

Eager to get his career back in the spotlight, Buck hires a PR manager (Emily Blunt) and a recent law-school dropout named Troy (Colin Hanks) as his assistant. Troy's dad is played by none other than Tom Hanks, of course!
